Traveling during covid

First of all, the advice from the government in the Netherlands is to travel only while necessary. Of course we understand u that u want a break or something so here are some tips to travel safe.

  1. Book a package tour
That means that u book a accommodation, a flight and an transport to your accommodation in one. Why? Cause u need a negative covid test when u travel and with a package tour u get one for cheaper at your destination.
  2. Book last minute
If u book last minute it will be cheaper and because the country u maybe go to will go in lockdown or something and your money is gone. So pick a date that u want to go and look maybe 2-3 weeks before on sites to book your trip.
  3. Check if u can travel safe to your destination.
The Dutch government has a site to check if u can travel safe to your destination.
    https://www.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/reizen/reisadviezen
  4. Check your insurance.
Before u travel check what your insurance will cover if u get covid at your destination. U better want to be sure and safe.

Those are four tips how to travel safe. If u want some inspiration on where u want to go? Even on a budget? Check our post about ‘Traveling on a budget’ u will find a list with budget proof destinations also
